Magic ViewFinder offers an accurate preview of framing for the actual camera and lens combination that will be used during your shoot, right at your current location with your phone or tablet. The app functions as a digital director's viewfinder, helping you visualize the precise field of view for your upcoming shot. Simply select the desired camera from the menu and adjust the focal length using the wheel.

Magic ViewFinder also allows simulation of tele adapters or anamorphic optics for your camera from the menu. Additionally, you can choose the aspect ratio of the frame guide overlaying your image.

Incorporating commonly used color presets (LUTs) to the live picture, Magic ViewFinder brings you closer to your final shot.

Once you have found the perfect view, save it for future reference with added details like focal length, tilt and roll, date and time, as well as camera/lens information. While capturing a photo, take advantage of locking exposure and toggling autofocus on and off for precise control over the captured image.

If the field of view of your actual camera exceeds that of your in-device camera, Magic ViewFinder accommodates this by adding 'padding' around the image. This feature has set a benchmark in this category and has been emulated by other viewfinder apps.

It's important to note that the position of your Android device corresponds to the 'nodal point' of your genuine lens, situated approximately at the middle of the lens, serving as the weighted center of the optics.
